Q & A

            Q & A

The common questions and hopefully the answers!

01

The Booking process?

After we have chatted and confirmed the date, a small deposit of £100 is required, and a booking form completed to book in the photography. I will also send you my T&C's too to read.

02

Do you travel?

Yes I will travel anywhere - no problem, and we can discuss any extra travel fees if applicable like overnight charge and any excess mileage.

03

What camera gear do you have?

I use Nikon professional equipment (always have) - and have the latest top of the range cameras, lenses and lighting to create the best quality images for your day. I have back ups with me too just in case. I'm also fully insured for peace of mind.

04

Do you work with a second photographer?

I generally work alone as I do so best! This suits my documentary style, where I can be more discreet and capture those stunning images with little fuss. But if you are planning a bigger wedding and require more coverage - then yes I can sort a great photographer to work with.

05

Rain - what do we do?

Don't worry - whatever the weather I will always capture great images? Yes sunshine is best for everyone let's be honest, but if there are rain drops then there will always be a nice room or staircase at the venue, and with my studio lighting we will still create special pictures. I always have a Plan B! We could also be brave and venture outdoors as there are some nice pics to be captured too with my umbrella.

06

Do you shoot group shots?

Of course, as well as my documentary style I will always still shoot the wedding staples (unless otherwise instructed) like the family group shots- it's tradition and the older generation like them especially! I always try to keep the time for these to a minimum as you have guests to mingle with and champagne to drink!

07

When we are eating do you still shoot?

I can if you want - but generally I don't as people don't really want shots of themselves with a mouthful of food, and they can feel a bit self conscious. It's always a good time to rest my feet momentarily and refresh.

08

Albums and Products

I always provide the many images on a lovely stylish USB drive and a secure online gallery which you can share with family and friends in case they want to buy a print or two. I can also provide many products like albums, photobooks, framed prints and more. Even a photo-mug (maybe not?)
